History of Macintosh: Happy 30th Birthday, Mac

30 years ago today, Steve Jobs introduced the Macintosh computer. Without the Macintosh, it’s fair to say StackSocial wouldn’t even exist. To say thanks and pay homage, here is a visual evolution of the history of Macintosh.

Please note: This is primarily the evolution of Macs, though Mac Pro’s and portables are tossed in for fun. Hope you enjoy!

Why is the 2007 iMac Aluminium running Windows Vista??

Because Apple provides that functionality through multiple methods, including but not limited to a built in application known as Boot Camp.

I know that, but i would just think it would be more patriotic if the photograph was of it running its own, original OS. not its main competitors OS.

Yes I know that but why use windows vista for a Mac birthday image? Use that for a MS birthday! lol
