MacWorld Expo Going on Hiatus

Bad news, Apple enthusiasts – the MacWorld Expo is going on indefinite hiatus, with little chance of it ever returning in a similar capacity to the way its been done.

The move comes after the MacWorld print magazine shut down, and five years after Apple decided to hold its own events instead of attending the show (and using it to unveil major products). While not unexpected, the announcement is still sad for many dedicated Apple users and professionals with fond memories of past MacWorld Expos.

Best of luck to the remaining Macworld staff — we hope to see the MacWorld Expo return in some capacity. For now, we’ll be tuning in to Apple’s event this Thursday.
