A few months ago, we launched our biggest, most exciting giveaway ever — the chance to win a brand new 2021 Tesla. We are thrilled to finally announce our lucky winner, Vladimir Shclover from Newton Massachusetts!
Originally, the giveaway was for a Tesla Model 3, but Vladimir opted to upgrade to the Model Y so he could gift it to his wife — Vladimir, we applaud you.
We checked in with Vladimir after he got the good news, and this is what he had to say:
“Miracles do happen. I entered the charity raffle for a new Tesla back in September of 2020 without any hope to win. The important part was the donation for a good cause, and a few short days after that I totally forgot the raffle component of it altogether. So, when I received an email from the organizers of some raffle stating that I was a WINNER of a Tesla, I was about to send the message to a spam folder. I hesitated for a second at the last moment and did recall a Tesla raffle I entered a few months prior. My heart skipped a beat, since I’ve never won anything in my life, and I made myself read the whole email over and over again.
Over the next few days, my doubts disappeared — I had indeed won a brand new car, and not just any car, a Tesla! My excitement quickly washed away my disbelief, and a sense of euphoria spread to my entire family. I think even my dog Archie got a hunch that something exciting had happened. I can’t wait to get behind the wheel of my new Tesla and take it for a speedy yet quiet ride to Cape Cod.”
